Before we move on the next part of our post, I would like to ask you for happy thoughts to be sent my sister Theresa's way.  She's been so sick.  I called her yesterday and felt horrible because I woke her.  But she tried so hard to talk to me but the girl didn't have a voice at all!

And now I have some news to share with you that is both sad and exciting.

The sad news we are saying good-bye to Marie.  She decided that it's time to take her talents to other teams.  We tried to convince her to stay, but she felt it was time to move on.  We will miss her greatly and we wish her well and hope to see her around.  We, of course, love her very much so we want only what's best for her.

There will also be some other changes to the team as the year moves on so it's time to have our first real Design Team call.  That's the exciting part.

To apply:

• Send 2 samples of what you consider to be your best work.  These samples need to represent your style. 
• Send a new card/project featuring one of the 4 sketches below.
• Include a paragraph or two telling us a bit about you, your favorite techniques and your stamping style.  We would also like for you to tell us why you’d like to be on our team.

Applications are due by June 9th, midnight EST.  Team will be announced by 6/16/2012.

Requirements:

• DT term will begin on July 1st thru December 31st 2012.
• You will create 4-5 samples per month
• You will be required to create 1 sketch and provide 1 challenge idea during your term
• You are required to comment on participant’s entries that are assigned to you with the exception of the Judged Challenge, where you’re required to comment on every entry for voting purposes.
• Our sponsors often offer images, stamps or products to use.  When these are available you’re encouraged to use them.

What's in it for you?:

• Free images/stamps/products to use for your samples (when provided by sponsors)
• A blinkie to wear on your blog
• Featured on the TMS Blog and Facebook
• You have full creative license.  Your creation has to resemble the sketch but we want you to make it your own.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #145

Good Morning!  Thank you for coming back for another fun sketch.  I cannot tell you how delighted I was with last week's partcipants - your creations were fabulous!!  A huge thanks to Corinne of Ribbon Carousel for sponsoring.

This week we have another new sponsor joining us.  I "met" Cindy when I was perusing the internet one night.  I stumbled onto her fabulous store StampingScrapping.com and was absolutely delighted with what I found.  Great selection of all kinds of fun things for your cards and pages.

She also designs dies for Spellbinders!  And she's created stamps that coordinate perfectly with Spellbinders Nestability dies.  In fact, you're playing for one of those stamp sets this week.
